I’m so happy to see so many people getting their Bio letters. For the folks who got WAC,I wouldn’t worry too much. An acquaintance of mine filed on April this year, had no updates for 4-5 months and 3 weeks ago she received her new green card 🙂

Hello, my husband got his letter stating they received our I-175 petition and that his card with letter is good for 24 months. I’m not sure if this is asked allot but when can he apply for citizenship. He has been here since the k1 visa  since November 2018

Count 3 years from the day , the 2 years green card granted then minus that 90 days !
or use the US citizenship calculator on the USCIS website (more accurate)

Make Sure to wait at least a week from the day of eligibility  to file , to avoid the time zone difference hassle .

Hi guys!

I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm little confused by this one.

So I got an extension letter in the mail, however it's printed on a regular white paper. Two of my friends that got their letters around the same time as me, were printed on a thick green paper ( I attached photos).

I have no idea if that even matters or not, it's just weird. I will add, that this was a second notice that was mailed to me ( the first one was never delivered because USCIS didn't include my apartment #).

I will appreciate any response.

Thanks!

Since the first paper ( original) got lost in the mail .. that was green as it come directly from that specific printer ..  You requested a copy of it ..so  they sent you a copy :)

We have now entered the calm seas with no wind in our sails. The long wait with no word begins..

Finally done...

I still haven't received my NOA letter and my case number (received by text - SRC#) is not found on uscis website case status page.

Does anyone know how long it takes before this issue gets resolved online and how long it takes to receive the letter?

In comparing with other filers, it seems like I should have received the letter by now. And that I should at least be able to view my case online until I receive it.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

09/04/21: USCIS received package

09/07/21: Text received/Case # assigned

09/09/21:  Check cashed

It usually come at most a few weeks later. I would give them a call.

  • 3 weeks later...

Have a question for the folks here who can advise. I sent my wife's I751 back in September 2021. Her Canadian passport was expiring in April 2022 so I decided in November 2021 to file for renewal for her passport. I received the new passport today (along with the old one which has been hole punched/cancelled) and the new passport has a different passport # than what I referenced/submitted in the I751 filed in September 2021. Is this an issue? How can it be remediated?

I can not imagine this will be an issue since she still has her old passport.  If she gets scheduled for an interview (hopefully not), she should take both old and new passports with her in case they want to get a copy of the new one.
