My lawyer sent my package in today! All 200+ pages (omg?). I'm filing with divorce waiver. Lawyer mentioned that USCIS has stopped requesting passport photos, so did not submit that. Anyone heard anything similar?

Also: Do you know how long it'll take to receive extension letter?

Thanks much!

Thank you for your reply.

It was delivered on Monday but no notification since then.

I have a feeling something is not going well.....

is the first notice of receipt has the  24 month extension? And Does the extension  kick in from the day they  processed the NOA  , OR the day the 1st green card expire ?

Might be true , another lawyer told me to send the photos , so if they wave the biometrics  so they would have recent photos for the new green card ,better than sending you to the biometric office for new photo or RFE for the photos if they wave the biometrics ..however said its not necessary to be sent in but just in case !

Conditional permanent residents who properly file Form I-751 or Form I-829 will receive a receipt notice that can be presented with their Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card (also known as a Green Card), as evidence of continued status for up to 24 months past the expiration date on their Green Card, while their case remains pending with USCIS.

Finally done...

Great , yea that would make sense , cause if its from the day of NOA , then it will be less than 24 months ..

The instructions for I-751 don't mention passport style photos. I didn't send any.  They probably get them with the biometrics, or reuse them from the two year green card if biometrics are waived

None of these is mentioned in the group instructions. They're not necessary. As far as photos, they may be able to use them. I just know they don't ask for them with this application. As far as birth and marriage certificates, that was all proven with the AOS.
