Hey everyone

I wanted to see what documents are required for the k1 visa interview. Do they have to be original documents? If not would copies work as well as them being translated.

asking this if we can not get the original copies on hand.
thank you

Possible :

Embassy likes  originals and if in foreign language,  the originals need English translations also, you will be put in AP (saying refuse on CEAD site )and possibly  be given 221 g saying submit originals but since this is Lebonon and the country is going thru H--ll at the moment,  no one can say what CO officer will do

the USCIS site does say the following

Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.
