Car loan as evidence

I think I know the answer to my question but I figure I would ask anyways. I submitted my previous car loan as evidence for form I - 751 but I noticed with everything going on with car shortages right now I would get several thousand more for my car and I was thinking of getting a new one. I was wondering if that would royally mess up our case. Again I apologize for asking a stupid question.

Are you not going to buy another car? If so, put both names on the new loan in case you have to do an interview and they ask for more evidence. Better be safe than sorry.

You want to sell your used car to take advantage of the expensive used car market at the moment (ok, this makes sense). But if you decide to buy a new car right away you'll still end up paying more for that new car. The reason why used cars are so expensive right now is all because inventory is very limited for new cars. One strategy I have seen people use, typically people with multiple cars is to sell their cars but keep one car, and then try and wait it out until the market stabilizes again before purchasing another car. Note however that, the prices of used cars seem to dropping (basically the market is gradually correcting itself).

Immigration-wise, selling your car has no impact your case.
