I have an in-law coming to live with us for potentially 6months-1 year.  This person is not a u.s resident, so is coming in as a foreign visitor.

from a health insurance standpoint,  what options does she have?  Is she eligible for Obamacare?  Would love to take any recommendations

Not eligible for ACA insurance.  Need to buy short  term visitor insurance which will not cover preexisting medical conditions , routine dr visits or medications etc and is generally considered Catastrophic cover only
