Finally found the right subforum to post this. Hope mods can help me remove the duplicate posts from other subforums since I cant delete my threads.

Getting to my question - We have decided to do intent to reestablish domicile as my USC wife lives in Canada with me. I was filling out DS260 and have some questions:

1. We have mentioned our Canadian address as petitioner's "current address" in i-864. However, in DS260, I am confused what should we say for the address question as shown in the screenshot below? Should this still be the U.S. address or the Canadian address? Does the "current address" field work differently in DS260 and i-864?

2. Secondly, for the "permanent address" question where it asked me where I intended to live once in the U.S. I provided my in-laws address and put my wife's dad's name as the person who lives there since my wife is not domiciled yet but will move there when she moves to the U.S. ahead of the interview. Is it right to provide my in-laws' name or should I put my wife's name as "the person who lives there" in the address field even though she isn't domiciled yet?

Please consider helping me out by answering both questions if you have filed DS260 while abroad. Hoping to make some friends who are at NVC stage and are filing from abroad. Thank you.

@pushbrk please advise!

That’s what I did as someone who lives with spouse abroad:

- Current address = where you physically are at this time

- Permanent address = the US address where you intend to domicile (or in your case, your in-laws name and address)
