Hi!

I like doing this for my own peace of mind. I am about ready to put my husband's AOS packet in the envelope to send out in the mail tomorrow. I wanted to do one last check to make sure I've included everything. Could someone please verify? (Because my 3 times isn't good enough for my anxiety LOL) And to confirm, I send the envelope to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services  P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120, correct?

Thank you for posting this checklist, that helps me a lot :)

One question though on the Passport Type Photos - is there a requirement for how recent they should be? (I remember that was the case for the K1 visa, but is it the same for the AOS?)

Thanks :)

I can vaguely remember seeing somewhere that it needed to be within the last 6 months. But after reviewing the instructions for the I-485, it just says “taken recently”. Honestly, my husband got a ton of copies of the one he took for his medical (in May) and we just used those. :)

If I am submitting all of the forms (i-485, i-765, i-131) together, do I need to provide multiple copies of the same evidence (ie 2 passport type photos, copy of foreign passport bio page, copy of foreign passport visa page, etc)? It looks like the OP submitted 6 passport type photos. Thank you.

My understanding is that they are each separate applications so they need their own evidence as they are processed separately.
