I haven't been able to post much lately so I though I'd update those of you who know me of what I've been up to.

Well, the 25th, we got an email from USCIS for an RFE on my I-90. I haven't gotten it in the mail yet so I have no clue what they could want from me. I'm irritated enough with them getting my greencard wrong in the first place and making me go through this unecessary step.

On a brighter note, yesterday I got my driver's permit! I have been afraid all my life to drive but I'm a step closer to learning. I got 1 question wrong on the test and I'm mad at myself for getting it wrong because I "skimmed" the question rather than reading it through and there lay my mistake. I knew the correct answer.

My husband (with help from MIL) bought a new 2006 Hyundai Tiberon 2 days ago and instead of trading in his 2000 Elantra, he is giving it me. It is what I will be practicing with (when I get my nerves up) and my name will be added on the title once I get my licence and I will have my own car. :) It will make things much easier for us as for now I'm relying on my husband and his mother to drive me to and from work every day.

Speaking of work... I've been doing 8-12 hours shifts for the past 3 weeks helping get the store I work at (DSW Shoes) up and running. My arms are so tired from lifting boxes it's not funny! I'm a tiny girl ya know! Tonight is a special night for the store as it will be the first time it will be open to some of the public. This is a promotional night for RYS (Reward Your Style) members to come in and shop before the store is officially open. Tomorrow is the official openning of the store to all of the public. I'm beyond nervous because I'm going to be cashier tonight and for the next week and besides the training I got the last week or so, I haven't cashiered in over 6 years. It should be interesting.

In little over a week (April 8-12th), Andy and I will be travelling up to Vancouver, BC. We're calling it our honeymoon as we never really had one since Andy had to go to work the day after we got married back in July. I'm taking him up Grouse Mountain and across the Capilano suspension bridge. It will be a good break for both of us. Between immigration, work and other things, we need it!

So yeah, that's the update of my current life. Hope everyone else here is doing good. If I ever get my new greencard having the correct info on it, I'll let you all know!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Sounds like things have been going well. Learners permit, new wheels, new job and honeymoon/vac coming up. So nice to hear good things are happening for you.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

I'm still waiting on that box of shoes to land on my doorstep, girlfriend! :)

I take it I'll be waiting a while, eh?

Congrats on the job and all. :)
