Expediting I-130 petitions

I petitioned to bring my siblings to the US years ago and it's expected it'll take a few more years for their immigrant visas to become available.

Their home country is experiencing severe economical difficulties ad they are greatly impacted by this. Is it possible to expedite their already-submitted petitions? if so, what's the process?

No. Also expediting the petitions is futile since the Priority Date (PD) is what ultimately matters. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html

For potential derivative children a longer I-130 processing time is actually more preferable because of the CSPA calculation. https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/child-status-protection-act-cspa

You can only (try) expedite the interview after the PD is current. As DoS notes,

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html

If a visa is available for your relative’s category, and their case involves a life or death medical emergency, processing of your case may be expedited. To request a review for expedite, please submit a scanned letter (or statement) to NVCExpedite@state.gov from a physician (or medical facility). The letter must include the physician’s (or medical facility’s) contact information, and declare a life or death medical emergency exists.

Please make sure to include your case or receipt number on the subject line along with at least one of the of the following:

Petitioner’s name and date of birth

Beneficiary’s name and date of birth

Invoice ID number

If a visa is not available, unfortunately there is nothing that NVC can do to expedite the petition. Immigrant visa processing is governed by the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, which controls availability of visas. There is no provision within the law that would allow the Department of State to issue a visa to someone for whom a visa is unavailable.

Even if the PD was current, financial hardship expedites are approved when the hardship is to the US citizen, not the immigrant.
