that’s not how acquisition of citizenship law works in the USA.  
 

It works when a bunch of conditions overlap even for just one day:

 

* alien is a minor

 

* alien is an LPR

 

* parent is a citizen 

 

* parent has legal custody 

 

* parent has physical custody 

 

Depending the laws in force at the time and the  marital status, s/parent/parents/

So why are you giving the “confused” reaction to other posts saying the same thing?

Not the same wording, but what’s the difference? You do understand that living with a parent is enough to show physical custody and that a green card holder is equivalent to being an LPR, right?
