Hello there!

We are coming up to the NVC stage of uploading our documents.

I have been reading old posts about labelling all your documents on the top right corner with your case number so that it has less chance of getting lost/misplaced and there will be a direct reference link to your case.

Does this mean labelling all the scanned uploads you will be submitting via CEAC website? Is just the case number ok? Or should we write our full names and DOB (read somewhere else).

Does anybody have an example to show what this may look like on a document? I really don't want to make any errors :)

Thank you so much!

back when mailing my lawyer did this with every page

it doesn't hurt to mark them before scanning

think this way:  USCIS  printers are getting thousands of documents a day  /yours may not come thru altogether  -could be mixed in others

and yes, they do loose documents

Those old posts refer to the ancient times when you still had to submit everything to NVC in paper form. I don’t see how they could lose docs now as you upload everything digitally in your personal CEAC account where it’s saved.
We didn’t do it, but if you choose to label your docs, the NVC case number should be sufficient.
