DEar Friends:

Me and my husband are in a very hard position. I came here with my tourist visa and we got marreid (after 4 years of knowing each other). we did all the paperwork and in the First package we send the I-130 and G-325A. Then i call a memeber of the USCIS (custmer service center) and told me to send the second package with the Form I-485, G-325A, I-693, I-864, I-765. And also told me that it didnt matter that i havent received the Notice of action of the I-130. So I send my second package without my NOA.

Today y received a REJECTION NOTICE saying:

Based on the information you provide, your priority date could not be established. Please resubmit your application with the proper documentation to the address listed on the botom of this notice.

the following documents may be provided:

your original form 1-30 or

your original form I-360 or

a copy of your formal i797 or

other evidence tar an immigration visa pettion has bee filed

So what i am asking here, is if sombody was or is in my same situation and what you guys did!!

thanks for helping me out, thabks for even reading this ... this visa process is emotionally stressing and i just want to breath a lillte bit.

Have you since received your NOA-1 for the I-130? If so, just re-mail everything w/ a copy of your I-130 NOA1. If not...has your check been cased for the I-130? Are you able to read your case number off the back of the check? Perhaps if you print out the page from when you check your status online...that may be sufficient to mail in w/ the AOS stuff. I'm sorry, I don't have any other suffestion.

Good luck!

Firstly a question: is your husband a US citizen?

OK, onto what you posted:

OK first things first: Don't ever trust anything the USCIS misinformation hotline tells you. Firstly, you should have filed everything together in the same envelope. Secondly if you don't you must file the I-485 with a copy of the reciept notice from the I-130, the USCIS hotline gave you just plain wrong information here, as they often do.

So what i am asking here, is if sombody was or is in my same situation and what you guys did!!

Don't stress. Simply wait for the I-130 Notice of Action to show up (if it hasn't already) and resubmit your 2nd packet (I-485 etc) with a photocopy of this NOA. This should work fine.

Don't call the hotline again!
