Hi all,

in the list of requirements for medical exam for K1 Visa, one of them states BRING medical history?  How does one acquire that?  I thought this will be done at the doctors for the medical examination?  Or do I have to get this from my GP doctor?  I will be scheduled for Frankfurt Germany ...Anybody who can give me some advise?

I'd appreciate this.

Thank you for a note..Yes, I do have the vaccines records.  But the list says as well a medical history aside from vaccine records so I am really confused where to get that except from my GP?

Yes, I have them.  But the list says aside from the vaccine records are medical history like surgical operations, treatments mental and physical, gynecology findings etc... I am really confused how this history should be brought with the other requirements.  Anyone any advise?

Welp if you had any surgeries you can bring discharge letter, or if you had any mental issues you can get your medical history from your doctor and note that you overcame it. If you didn’t have any surgeries or mental issues, then you can’t bring what you don’t have. At exam you are probably going to fill out some form about health history. Even if you had surgery in past and have no paperwork i think you should be fine. I had tonsils removals, some watery cyst on neck and 2 mole removals and i have paperwork from all, i’ll bring them but i never heard anybody from my country ever needing this kind of paperwork on medical. Just vaccinations records and doctor’s note i mentioned earlier if person had mental issues in past.

Thank you.  You're very kind to reply and list the examples.  I agree, where my confusion is.  I don't have those history except for the vaccines.  Got a C section when my son was born 27 years ago, other than I don't even know what my doctor will write except.. Blood, organs all healthy :). Thanks again.
