There are many valid reasons for your position however remember you’re petitioning USCIS and as much as possible giving them what they want (so far as it’s genuine and not manufactured), is in your best interest. Many genuine happily married couples for example don’t live together or commingle assets, USCIS doesn’t like it.

That said if you don’t have something, you don’t have it. However if you’re in a position to give USCIS what they want without too much inconvenience to you, do it!

All the best.

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

Moreso, you can add her on your own account, get her a credit card and debit attached to your own account in her name. You only need prove of address to do this...you can submit statement of accounts showing these cards and names as prove of co mingling resources ( Piggy banking is also a great way to improve her credit anyways).

We do not have a joint account because simply, we never saw a reason or neccessity to have one.

She has been a stay at home wife, we have never spent a day apart since her coming here. Any purchases we need to make, she just uses my card, we buy everything mostly online.

I would like to know what valid or "acceptable" reasons others have given, for not having a joint account
