Sponsor changing job and address after being DQ at NVC

Hi everyone,

My husband got a better job offer and is going to start a new job in two weeks, is in a very stable company. He's also going to have to get an apartment in a neighboring state.

We got Documentarily Qualified (DQ'd) on July 22nd, 2021, and received an email that the NVC will work with the Consulate at Ciudad Juarez to schedule an appointment. So far the appointments that they are giving are for people that became DQ around Aug-Sep 2020, so we still have a few months of waiting.

For the forms I-864 and the DS-260 we used his current address. Our case is electronic and the form submission is closed at the website now.

I also made a mistake in my DS-260 form and mistyped my passport expiration date. I've heard that you can make a new DS-260 with the correction, and bring the two confirmation pages to the interview, would that be enough?

My address in Mexico will remain the same.

What do we need to do in order to update his address and job change?

Thanks.

Do not fill in another DS 260, the system may not even allow. Just update your sponsor's address and your passport info with the CO during the interview. Bring a new i864 with latest financial info and supporting documents during the interview.
