K1 visa medical can I use NHS app for summary record

Hi can anyone tell me if I need to print out in paper form my summary health record or can I just show them my summary record on the NHS app?

also I listed on my medical form that I have never had depression but on my GP health record there is multiple prescriptions for an SSRI medicine used to treat depression. Will the medical officer quiz me on this? Or am I being pedantic?

many thanks

Hi Matty,

You will need a print out of your summary care record.

Also, if you have suffered from depression in the past and/o have SSRIs on your care record they will quiz you on this. If you have had depression or any other mental health issue, you will need a letter from your doctor. This thread provided a really good template for said letter:

I used the basic outline and had a phone call appointment with a GP who wrote the letter while I was on the phone. I used the points in the post and dictated them to the doctor.

Kind regards

Andrew

I think you should be able to figure this out. Your record of medications conflicts with what you say on the questionnaire. Who will they want to explain why you were prescribed such meds? If not for depression, then what? The mental health part of the exam includes more than depression and there is a hint on your record that you had some issue. They tend to want to hear it from a medical professional rather than only your explanation. Mainly they need to rule out harmful behaviors on your part and substance addictions.

I was on it mainly due to BDD and OCD and anxiety but it was awhile back so I’ll have to check with my GP as to what was initially said. Hopefully I didn’t mention depression in that discussion with the GP but only way to know is to see the record. If I did I’ll get the full write up from my GP to make sure this won’t cause issue at the medical.

thanks for the advice and help and An&Je thank you also.
