Okay, that's obviously your right. These are serious allegations that people should consider seriously. Obviously you did and you did not care about his erratic behavior as his former fiancée alleged.

Oh, I'm sure you could ask my ex-boyfriend's wife if he abused me and she'd say I was crazy and making it up. Was Elder's other girlfriend there at the time of the incident? His fiancée did not report the incident at the time (this is not an abnormal thing) but did tell several friends it happened around the same time. I am not saying it necessarily happened but it DOES reflect on his character. He can't be charged with anything now because the incident happened too long ago. 

 

It's going to be moot soon enough. Newsom has pulled ahead significantly over the past couple of weeks. A poll released today puts the Nos at 60%. What a waste of time and money.

Gavin Newsom had sex with the spouse of one of his employees. This is a fact that is not disputed.

Larry Elder has been neither tried nor convicted.  
 

People of my political persuasions do not believe allegations are sufficient basis for denial of political office.  
 

People of other political persuasions think allegations are sufficient basis for denial of political office 100 percent of the time if the candidate is a Republican and some times (maybe even most of the time) if the candidate is not a Republican.

One of eighteen I received! (Just kidding.) I voted well in advance of today.

 

I'm looking forward to putting this all behind us. What a waste of money. Elder is not doing himself any favors right now, claiming yesterday that the election was riddled with fraud even though counting hasn't even started. He also bizarrely appeared to admit defeat... before the counting even started.

It's just been called by MSNBC and it was a total shellacking, even more than the polls have been showing in the past few days. At this point there's nearly 3 million votes between No and Yes. Still more votes to be counted but there's no way for Yes to surpass No now. This is a rejection of values that just aren't Californian for the majority of us.
