NOA1 exact date

Your NOA1 date, just some info.

I see alot of people saying their NOA1 date is their "notice date", while in fact it's the "received date".

For example:

I-129f sent: 2020-12-01

Notice received: 2021-02-15

NOA1: 2021-02-15

 

So you sent your I-129f in December, received a notice in February. But since it only takes a couple of days to get to the Lockbox, your NOA1 is the date "they" receive it, so somewhere in December, like this:

I-129f sent: 2020-12-01

Notice received: 2021-02-15

NOA1: 2020-12-05

 

Because some people put the wrong date in their timeline, the estimate approval date will never be right. I know you can't hold on to that, especially now, but still.

NOA1 date is the date they put on the official paper notice. And they backdate it in cases where they take a long time to send a NOA1. So whatever date they provide you have to use that as NOA1, not the date you think they might have received it.
