I am filing for AOS for my mother. Her visitor visa expires on December and I am planning to travel past that date to Puerto Rico. Should it be necessary to ask in the I 131 to travel to Puerto Rico? Or there should not be an issue since Puerto Rico is part of the USA. Thanks in advance

As above, PR is part of the US, but I wanted to check that you understand she could not use her visitor visa to leave the US and come back anyway after AOS is filed even if the visa was unexpired  - I’m not clear on why you felt the need to say the bolded sentence above.

I'm confused too

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

My apologies, it should not be bolded. I want to travel with my mom to PR , not outside the US. Did you mean to bring the receipt once they receive all my files ? Or the I 131 parole receipt for traveling to PR?
