Hi I’m wondering if anyone can help me in terms of what the next steps are for our k1 visa we have just checked the CEAC website and it was showing as “in transit” to “READY” this morning.

my main question is do I need to wait to receive an email or a letter from the London embassy before I can proceed with anything like my DS-160 or when I go to book an appointment here ( https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/information/iv_services ) it asks me if
I have received a letter/email from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K (Fiancé(e)/Spouse/Child) visa appointment. which I haven’t received an email as of yet but when we check CEAC it does indeed say ready.

should I wait to hear from the embassy before trying to book through that website or is the CEAC status showing ready enough to proceed?

many thanks to anyone who can help
