Hi guys. Just need a little advice. I came to the US couple of years ago via the dv lottery. However, the guys that played the lottery add 8 more years to my age. I was 18 at the time. It was too late when I find out so I applied for my visa with that age. I have not had any issues so far but I feel this might be complicated when I decide to file for social security. I don't want to get overpaid social security if I am filing at 62 then my age with SSn with be 70. Any advice will be appreciated

I suspect that there is something else that you are looking for and it is not that you are concerned that you will get overpaid social security.

Well congratulations to your 8% increase in your social security benefits.. If you knew about that 8 years was added to your age on the time of the interview and you didn’t say anything  about it, you committed a fraud. A lots of immigrants made corrections  by phone or on the time of interviews or via e reques and everything went well. .looks like you kept quiet about it for a long time..
