If your medical is on or after 1 October, yes.

This is rather ridiculous if you can prove you currently have covid antibodies. Covid antibodies trump EVERYTHING. You don't need protection if you currently have it. My dad has tested fully vaccinated people who came into the office with covid and 2 out of 3 did not have antibodies. He just started testing those with covid for antibodies if they were fully vaccinated as obviously this is all still rather new. Having had covid almost a year ago, I recently tested for antibodies in june, STILL PRESENT antibodies... this is the most unscientific decision I've heard to date. I feel sorry for immigrants having to immigrate post October who simply want more time to get more data but also want to start their life asap. Sad times.

It’s very confusing, the screenshots I posted contradict each other

Well those 2 pages are not Gov websites; they are just unaffiliated third-party websites (https://www.boundless.com/immigration-resources/u-s-visa-vaccination-requirements/ / https://www.vorys.com/publications-2988.html)

Also any references to I-693 do not apply to Immigrant Visa process.

Cool but I’m looking things up because according to am email I received from my quite incompetent lawyer, the covid vaccine is only required for people filing now with uscis and not applicable to people past that stage such as myself and according to him it will not be required at the medical appointment in Ciudad Juárez! Also I said those two things I found online and contradict each other; I did not say either of them was FACT! If you check the list of required vaccines at the medical exam, covid-19 isn’t even on that list yet

In the first picture it's towards the bottom but the text in parentheses is incorrect since it also applies to Panel Physician exams on or after October 1st: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/covid-19-technical-instructions.html "Applicants, defined in these Technical Instructions as people applying for immigrant or refugee status, as well as non-immigrants who are required to have an overseas medical examination, are medically screened days or weeks prior to travel to the United States (US)."

Again you’re not listening! I shared what I found, because just like myself I am sure there are people with incompetent lawyers. Are you a lawyer? Because you seem extremely sure of yourself. MY LAWYER told Me I am not required to have it because according to him it is not a requirement. According to him it is only a requirement from USCIS for New applicants. I Am saying that what is online on the sites that are SUPPOSED to help immigrants all contradict Each Other. Never have I said either screenshot is a fact. I am guessing you have read the complete thread, some of us have had our cases sent to Juarez from NVC already, we are just waiting for the appointment letters to make our medical exam appointments. Those who received the same emails from NVC in august got their appointments for September. I find it important to know all the proper information as where isn’t time to not only get the first covid vaccine but the second as well.

Ok y’all I heard it from the horses mouth! I chatted with an employee of servicios médicos de la frontera and she said if your consular appointment is on or after October 1st your covid vaccine is a requirement, they do not provide that specific vaccine which means we have to get it on our own and bring the vaccine card

When you say Consular Appointment, you mean the medical appointment right?

Not the actual CR1/IR1 interview where you need to show the result from the medical appointment.

RoC Timeline:

  1. 12/01/2023 - Application sent to Tempe, AZ lockbox
  2. 12/06/2023 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 12/12/2023 - Check cashed by USCIS
  4. 12/22/2023 - I-797C notice recieved giving access to 48 months extension letter online.

I mean if the date on your appointment letter you present to the medical examination people to do your medical exam, states that your interview appointment is on or after October 1st 2021, the covid vaccine will be a requirement to give you a completed medical exam, if you do not have it. They do not provide said vaccine therefore you will not complete your medical exam. Therefore, you won’t have the necessary clearances to go to your interview and be approved

and yes consular appointment does mean IR1/CR1 interview, you’re going thru consular processing. The same goes for those going thru adjustment of status in the US
