hello,

help needed please

I want to put an inquiry for change of embassy location from Islamabad to London. Should I hire an attorney or can I simply put a request through the NVC inquiry.

I have been DQ on July 6th .I shall be highly grateful if anyone can help me going through this process.

No need for an attorney.  I would contact NVC and the London consulate.

You just dq'd 4th of July 2021 so u have a long wait for interview

so,  how long will u be in UK on the work visa

it will not matter where u interview but any one from Pakistan goes thru extended AP (refused on CEAC site) while immigration does extra security checks

so,   even if approved in London,  will u still be thiere a year after interview to get visa?  and yes,, many from Pakistan even interviewing in other countries are waiting months to a year in AP

i am desperate for help,it been almost 18 months since we have started this journey, and i am so emotionally drained.

I am just looking for options if i can transfer to a faster embassy ,as my original embassy has a huge backlog of 13 months at the moment.

if anyone has any good experience to share,i will be very much thankful.

what I gather from the forum that ppl with DQ in may and june 2021 has got interviews in london in September.

so it is possible if i can get my interview even till dec this year.

This is incorrect.

London Consulate has already issued interview letters to IR1/CR1 applicants who DQ'd in early June 2021. These are scheduled for September 2021.

It is very likely that July 2021 DQs will be scheduled for interviews in October 2021. If not, it is unlikely to be later than November.

My understanding is applicants from Pakistan are often put into AP, but this occurs after the interview. So it makes sense for OP to transfer to London Consulate and get the interview out of the way. If AP is inevitable, at least it will start sooner, and thus end sooner.

If your case is at nvc embassy shall ask you to contact nvc to request the transfer. You need to contact embassies for transfer when the case is already sent to embassy for interview.
I saw one person interviewed at Islamabad on 30 Aug and his visa got approved the same day, no AP was required. May I know whether this AP is required when case is transferred to other country, or embassy picks cases randomly to put under AP. Some cases in Islamabad go through AP and some do not. Would this be the same when cases are transferred to other countries?
