But since state independently recognize marriages, the place of residence in the US is very important.

It is when it gets to the Consulate/Embassy that it matters where one will be living.

Have u already applied?   if not,  i would print out a page showing Colorado accepts 1st cousins to marry and submit that with the petition

if you already submitted petition,  print out the information and send to your wife to show at interview as CO can ask her to prove it (not their job to know state laws or look this up on internet)

1st cousin marriage although acceptable for both Morocco and Colorado,  still may have other issues at interview

 

my Moroccan BIL married his 1st cousin with little knowledge of her and no time with her as marriage was arranged by family

But for immigration u are going to need to show quality time spent with the wife and she needs to know all about you and your life here in the US/ that's a requirement for all of us

so,  inform her of every little and big thing in your life here

still need things like boarding passes to show trips to be with her

and about 20 photos of marriage and any other photos of trips to see her

Hi Jeanne .thanks a lot. Sorry for responding too late. The topic I opened was about the married cousins trying to move to Texas.
