Hi folks,

I had a question that I cannot seem to resolve myself. I tried searching on the forum already but all the responses are many years old.

I submitted an AR-11 almost a month ago online. I included the I-751 receipt number on it. I received an email confirmation with a date of August 3rd (when I'd expect to hear from USCIS by mail I'm guessing).

It's been a month and I haven't heard anything from them.

Here are the steps I took to try to dig into it:

1. I tried calling the USCIS number, but it was a maze. I kept asking to verify my CoA, but the automated prompt only kept sending me the link to submit the form online. There was no way to get to a human.

2. I went on the website and used the chatbot to talk with. The chatbot said that if it has been 15+ days and I haven't gotten confirmation, I can re-submit the form.

3. I tried to resubmit the form online, but it told me that this form is still pending and to submit IF there is yet another new address. Obviously, I don't have another new address, it is the same that I submitted on the AR-11.

Unsure on how to proceed here.

1. Should I re-submit the form online again? OR

2. Should I mail in the form instead? However, I heard that mailing it in does not "pull" my I-751 application to this new region that I live in (Texas). Not sure how I can do that.

3. Should I call them for it? Once again, not too sure how to even get to a human on the phone. It keeps throwing me in a maze.

Thankfully, I still have family at my old address, so I won't have lost mail. But I'd like to move my I-751 from California (old address) to Texas where the processing time is significantly less and get this going.

I'd appreciate any pointers.

Thanks!

edit:

I should note that we mailed in my wife's form i-865 (she's my sponsor), and she received her confirmation in the mail a few days ago, so that piece is taken care of already.

I filled more than 1 year ago and they never sent nothing by mail. Why you need? It’s not necessary

It's not necessary? I was confused when their e-notice said that I should expect to hear from them by August 3rd. It indicated to me that there was some delay or something like that.
