Hi,
i was born in Jordan, my family left Jordan when i was 5 years old to live in palestine, i have a palestinian nationality. (i don't have Jordanian nationality).
When i registered for dv lottery, the chargeability country was ISRAEL!

JODRAN, PALESTINE AND ISRAEL ARE IN THE SAME REGION !!!

brief:
Born in Jordan
But live in Palestine
Chargeability country came Israel

-----------------

Another question:

** Please note that persons born in the areas administered prior to June 1967 by Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt are chargeable, respectively, to Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt. Persons born in the Gaza Strip are chargeable to Egypt; persons born in the West Bank are chargeable to Jordan; persons born in the Golan Heights are chargeable to Syria.

What does that means in my case?

The numerical limitations prescribed in INA 201, INA 202, and INA 203 apply to the foreign states and dependent areas.  (See 9 FAM 503.2-5 below.)  An immigrant visa applicant subject to these numerical limitations is generally chargeable to the numerical limitation applicable to the applicant’s place of birth.  An immigrant visa applicant born in a dependent area is chargeable to the dependent area (to ensure compliance with the dependent-area limitation imposed in INA 202), as well as to the mother country

Sorry but this is not true. There are various rules for chargeability, whether or not someone is eligible to where they have charged is not a factor in selection. It is decided by CO at interview

i have already answered poster on another thread so not repeating myself again here
