Fes.

Don't upset her but understand AP may be long as experienced by another who was a moroccan who came here in his early years and had all that was needed for his CR1 as he was a college graduate and school teacher (well respected) and a good salary

just reassure her that you stay with her and when all is done ,,  she will be here

tell her some of us have to work hard to get thru this

the man from PA who married the woman  from Fes was taken by shock to go thru this long AP as he says women don't get into the politics

but to be honest,  it didn't help when 2 Scandinavin women were killed while hiking near Imili in 2018 by terriorist loyal to ISIS

just be her strong support and have faith that all will be ok

incha allah

i don't say all this to scare but to inform all of us that what we go thru to get the visa depends so much on country circumstances and politics

but if u scroll thru the posts from morocco,  you may find the one case i refer to -sorry i forget his ID on here as we talk on whatsapp

read Moroccan news to get a feeling of all that's happening

that helps us understand

Marackech had a bomb go off in the big marketplace about 2 years ago

and Fes had several arrested with scores of guns and ammo

More than 1,600 Moroccan nationals have traveled to conflict zones to fight alongside extremist groups. Many of these individuals may try to return to Morocco, especially as successful anti-ISIS efforts in Syria, Iraq, and Libya progress. Moroccan security services are aware of the potential danger these individuals may pose, and have gone to great lengths to intercept them at international border crossings. Moroccan security services are generally proactive and effective in identifying and neutralizing terrorists and terror cells. According to local media reports, the Moroccan government has broken up hundreds of terrorist cells, many of which expressed allegiance to or sympathy with ISIS. These arrests often include individuals spreading extremist ideologies and propaganda. Disruptions of alleged terrorist cells occurred nearly monthly in 2019.

they did ask for her passport so i would tell her that's a good sign -a very good sign)

I was unaware of all of this. I will have to find the Moroccan section of the forum to get more acquainted with the experience of others.

Where do I begin? My fiancé and I have been down a long, difficult road. We have been together for 4 years. Broke up and got back together. Long distance relationships can be difficult, not matter how much you love one another. That said, after waiting a year to get through USCIS and the NVC, we finally got our interview a few weeks back. We thought we had all the papers and documents ready. We really know one another well, and she speaks fluent English, so I was cautiously confident that things would go well. I should have expected the worst. At the end of the interview, she was given a 221G form and told to supply additional evidence: a court record (our lawyer seems to have missed this document), an original divorce decree (she only had the copy that was in the I-129 file), and, to my surprise, the CO asked for more photos, chats, and travel records, even though examples of each were in the file my fiancé was asked to bring to the interview. We gathered all the documents and returned them via courier service within a couple of days. From what I have been reading and hearing, AP is a "holding pattern." No one can tell you how long it will take and what the outcome will be. According to my fiancé several others were given 221G forms the day of her interview. Is this common these days? I was under the impression that CO's were supposed to issue them sparingly. One other question for now: when I search our case on CEAC, it says "refused." Is this common for those in AP? I appreciate any help and

How long did it take before you heard anything? Did she end up being approved? Same thing happened to my fiancé, in Dhaka.. but it was on August 17th, 2023. He submitted everything on August 22, 2023 including his passport.  This is so hard😔
