Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation.  But I think the CR-1 is far superior....especially for high fraud countries.

K-1
    More expensive than CR-1
Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork)
Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 6-8 months)
Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 6-8 months)
Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period
Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed.
A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire

CR-1
    Less expensive than K-1
    No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required.
Spouse can immediately travel outside the US
Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival.
Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US
Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport.

Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US.

Thank you for this Crazy Cat!

Given timeline is my top priority, and it's looking the same, I don't see any benefit to doing a K1. One last question, I know with the fiance you have to send in a bunch of evidence of your meetings, photos, etc. Would it be beneficial to do the same thing when sending your CR1? Or do they not even consider it?

The best evidence is of time actually spent together.  Read and study this guide:

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes, yes, yes! Especially with the consulate you're dealing with frontloading is super important. @JeanneAdil is your best source here 😊

You will need to front load that petition with as much evidence of a bonafide marriage as you can.

this means things like

boarding passes to show multiple trips

and photos should show marriage and Moroccan family especially mother to show approval (don't overdo # of photos 20-25 is plenty -copy 3 to a sheet of paper for scanning

a one page cover letter to outline to say how u met and timeline of trips and marriage

no money transfers for morocco

copy of any gifts or emails to show 1st meeting if online

and a few lines from text over the period of time to show you talk regular (don't over do this either)

For a CR-1, with a spouse from Morocco, I would also suggest making a few more trips to be together after marriage, to strengthen the evidence sent with the I-130 petition.  Don't send the I-130 to begin the process with only the marriage certificate, required civil documents, and light evidence of one or two trips together, face to face (original boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipts, a few photos together).  Also consider sending documentation of financial co-mingling with the I-130, we did this to front-load the petition, in anticipation of possible concerns about our big age gap.  Some things the US citizen spouse can do and document such as adding your foreign spouse to your US health insurance, as the beneficiary on life insurance, retirement accounts, bank accounts would be examples of this.  You can also do a will, living will, power of attorney, and add your spouse as an authorized user on your credit card, etc.  The CR-1 process will take 1-2 years from filing the I-130 petition to the visa interview, assuming all goes well.  Good luck!

Is there a reason money transfers make you look bad? What about the dowry?

you need to settle on the dowry and tell the Judge when he prepares the documents to sign

but that is marriage dowry

sending money by western union or other makes it look like foreigner is using USC instead of love

Sorry, we are not married. We haven't filed/registered anything yet. I'm still trying to figure out the best option for us.

Did you have a religious ceremony where the two of you got "married' ?

This is great advice. I did this mistake, I only sent the I130 with required civil documents and after one year of waiting I ended up getting a NOID, which caused us a delay for few months.
