I was selected in Diversity Visa Lottery while in US on F-1 status.
I filed I-485 to adjust my status and paid fee accordingly. Next week I have interview already. But I am confused about NVC fee $330; do I have to pay it before interview? Or only people selected in DV abroad pay it.......

It is a KCC fee not an NVC fee, and yes you need to pay it. As per the instructions:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/diversity-visa-program-entry/adjustment-of-status-fee-payment.html

You will not get an approved adjustment until the fee receipt is submitted - it actually ideally should have been included in your i485 package. There is almost no possibility you will get this before your interview if that is next week and you haven’t paid yet. Don’t forget the self addressed envelope for this. It may take a while and given the fiscal year is nearing an end, you may want to use a payment form you can track and email KCC as soon as it is cashed to ask them to email you a receipt. FYI tgey are not taking phone calls and they are taking a while to respond to emails at present.
