So our K-1 was approved on 29th of April 2021. It's been almost 4 months and NVC says they still havent received our case. As you know the approval notice has validity for only 4 months. We tried calling both USCIS and NVC. USCIS says we have to speak with NVC and that their job is done with the approval. NVC says since they havent received the case from USCIS that they have no information to give to us. We have no idea what to do or whom to speak with. This causes so many hardships. Anyone has any helpful advice on what we could do or whom to contact with would be much appreciated.

To be perfectly clear, your K-1 has not been approved.  The I-129F petition has been approved.  I hope you resolve this issue soon.  Good luck.

You should have started reaching out to USCIS ombudsman and/or your senators/representatives a long time ago. Linking a thread here, read carefully and look at links within:

We've been reaching out to them after the first 30 days. We were told email NVCresearch and NOT to call back for 90 days. We kept calling afterwards till now and still getting the same answers. They are completely oblivious and refuse to share any further information. My fiance (petitioner) is staying here with me overseas and he's not in the US. We dont know how to contact congressman/senitors and get them involved but as far as I've read the thread your linked & all the other threads were linked there I'm concerned they may not be much of a help either.

I’m talking about filing a request with USCIS ombudsman who are tasked with resolving issues like, and I quote, “Lost files and/or file transfer problems”.

you don’t know how to contact your senators or representatives? Well why don’t you find out who they are for your area (petitioners) and visit their website? You don’t have to physically go there so your petitioner fiancé can email them. I’m sorry but if you say “oh well they don’t seem like they can help” without proactively trying then I’m afraid you’ll just keep waiting indefinitely. You literally asked for “any helpful advice on who to contact” and here are people telling who to contact yet apparently they’re not going to be of help.

and you’re dead wrong when saying it didn’t seem to help them. I’m quoting a post by @Chauncey in the thread I linked and I’ll underline what they said in regards to your claims that they can’t help:

“Update for anyone who has this problem in the future:

About 5 weeks after having my congressman contact the DOS to ask why NVC still hasn't received my petition (its now been about 100 days since NOA2), they have finally responded and the California Service Center said they accidentally sent my file to the NRC (national records center) instead of the NVC. So now they have to request the file and then send it to the NVC which they said can take up to 6 weeks. Nothing has been mentioned yet about if they will reassign me a new NOA2 approval date or not since it expires in three weeks. Just wanted to let those know if this happens to anyone in the future, which I'm sure it will. I tried all possible avenues of contact and my congressman was the one who solved it. Start with them. or a Senator (mine wouldn't help me since the congressman already was).

Also, the only way to actually get in contact with the California Service Center yourself is to either submit a case inquiry on the uscis website(which takes about three weeks for a response) OR to call USCIS and make them have a tier 2 officer call you and if you LUCKILY answer the call they make to you one of the random 14 days after the request is made, they can also send an inquiry on your behalf to the California service center. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME talking to just anyone at uscis, they are absolutely despicable and useless individuals- as well as those at NVC who answer phones. Just FYI

First of all, you come off really passive agressive with your attitude. I stated that I'm concerned, I didnt say they dont seem like they can help. I'm willing to take any further actions including finding the senators and representatives as I've already started my research on that. I've come on here to ask for helpful advice and I'm thankful for all the info. As you can imagine I'm extremely frustrated just like all the other people that have been or still are in the same boat as I am. By them I meant USCIS and NVC and perhaps I should have cleared that for that I am sorry. I've read a couple posts mentioning their representatives not being able to help as USCIS refused to share any info and thats what concerned me. You've been a great help but I dont like your attitude. You are being extremely prejudgemental towards someone who you have no idea about aside from the two previous posts that I posted. It is of course on me that I wasnt clear enough or that my statement might have came across like I dont care.
I'd not be here searching for an answer if I did not.
Still, thank you for your help.

Edit: I had no idea about "ombudsman" and I've not heard about them during my research before. We will be submitting a request to the CIS omdubsman now,  again thank you for your advice.

Being direct and telling how it is vs passive aggressive are vastly different things but if you want to interpret it that way that's your choice. I frankly do not care if you don't like my attitude because I'm saying things without sugarcoating. This is a free website and I'm volunteering my time and advice here, I'm not a lawyer and I'm not getting paid to sit here and sweeten my words. And that's right - whatever info you give, thats what the answers are going to be based off of.

And they're many others who have successfully gotten answers through trying all: Senators and Congress people and USCIS Ombudsman. So why be pessimistic already without trying to reach to several people? My point is - you need start NOW because it's not a fast process and you've already let 4 months go by. I truly hope you resolve your issue and get on contacting every possible person that could apply pressure on USCIS/NVC. Good luck.
