Hi VJ,

What I want to know is what to expect and the time frame, and I would appreciate any tip on what to do guys.also what you think the denial was for

Here's my long story short

I had a k1 Visa interview I chose to speak in Arabic because my English is weak

After the end of the interview I was handed a 221g white slip the officer kept my passport and some documents, they didn't let me know whether I'm approved or denied. After 15 days my passport was sent back to me and my case moved to nvc then to uscis

This is not normal.  Were there any issues in the interview?  Do you have red flags such as age difference, different religions, etc?

Your fiance needs to join us here URGENTLY!!!!

I am sad to report that this case will, likely, expire at USCIS.  Time for plan B.

It will be sent back and allowed to die.

@Boyboss, in a previous post you stated "the officer asked me to do the interview in Arabic because my English is a bit weak ".  How much time have you and your fiance actually spent together in the same place?

Your fiance really needs to join us here....

they do allow interview in Arabic but expect the person to interview in Enlgish as u r to live here'

u will not get a reason for this denial from Algeria or USCIS but the lack of English is an issue

cases for our countries often depend on how much time the USC and u have spent together so u need good facetime with the USC

so,  now if the USC wants to continue with sponsorship,  you need to marry and go CR1

since  it will take about 2 years to marry and interview,   take classes or study English online

Do u have any red flags?

big age difference

she can not bare children

not enough face time together

religious differencers

family does not approve

For a successful interview in our countries the USC needs to add u tax returns and start commingling of fiances

and spend a lot of time with u

and you must have a good plan for living in the US like what work u would do or would u study here

so  it would be a good idea for the USC to join our group and study the guides and take some suggestions (as said above immediately)

They do not believe your relationship is bonafide or that you are eligible for this visa.

You will need to marry and start all over again if you want the visa.  Any 'red flag' issues that led to this denial will also be an issue for a spousal visa.

Best thing you can do is spend lots of time together in person.
