Has anybody got their F2A interview scheduled in the US embassy in Kyiv?

They haven’t updated their news in a while, maybe somebody got lucky? Would be great to at least know they’re processing visas other than citizen ones.

According to this, they are processing but in a limited fashion.  I had to pull my last comments because i could not find any proof in the embassy reviews.

Hey all,

Looking at IV issuance statistics here for June 2021 https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyIVIssuances/JUNE 2021 -- IV Issuances by FSC or Place of Birth and Visa Class.pdf

How is it possible that there’s just a few F2A visa issuances worldwide (!), but let’s say Ukraine has 60 visas given just in DV category. Which according to this phased resumption framework is actually lower priority than F2A.

Framework page is now showing 404, by the way (moved or deleted) https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/phased-resumption-routine-visa-services.html.

Original link can be found here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/rescission-of-presidential-proclamation-10014.html.

I’m happy of course for those who were lucky to get a DV appointment in these times. Just seems a bit unfair to leave the F2A in a limbo with not even an time approximation. US embassy says NVC is the one to make a call, and NVC says it’s the embassy’s availability that they need to report in. And turns out—literally no movement for F2A is happening WORLDWIDE.

No, that's not the case at all.  FX visa class includes F2A.  19 were issued in June to Ukrainian-born applicants, and most countries in the PDF report you linked have FX entries.

Oh! I had no idea FX stands for F2x categories. Seems like it’s related to the Priority Date not being current?

FX would be F2A cases that are exempt from country limitations.  Most F2A are in this group, so you see very few that are listed as "F2A", which are subject to country limitations.

Hi, my wife's IV category is F21 (subject to country limit), foreign state of chargeability is Dominican Republic, do you think that the FX categories they are and have been processing excludes her visa class?

If they do, do you have any idea when embassies would start processing F2A (F21 with subject to country limitation)?
