Hello people, My N400 petition is still pending but I’d like to know if evidence of child support is amongst the required evidence to show at the interview. I filed under the 5 year rule and already divorced from my ex and have a child together. Do I have to get a letter from her as evidence or are copies of checks issued to her sufficient evidence? Thank you everyone.

Copies of checks are fine.

I didn’t have child support but had alimony and brought proof alimony payments.  My IO didn’t want to see the evidence and took me at my word.

I’m submitted receipts of payment with my application then brought them plus the payments receipts made subsequent to my application. The officer took a copy of the additional payments made.
