Isn't the entire point to leave it up to the individuals to decide?  I know the Feds/State/Local Governments are experimenting on us to see how far they can go, but in the end, it should be up to the individual/family/parent.

Apparently you did not watch the video as Matt Walsh introduced himself.  I guess being a parent is meaningless to those that favor state control.

I did watch some of the video (I am at work) and heard him introduce himself, but I still don't understand why I should value what he has to say. If my husband -- a parent -- got up and spoke at his local school board, why should anyone think what he had to say was anything more than his opinion? He's a mathematician, not a medical professional or public health official. Opinions are... well you must know the saying.  Also, I read just now that Matt Walsh's kids are not enrolled in that school district. Here's a tweet where he confirms that.

Matt Walsh is the poor man's Charlie Kirk who is the poor man's Ben Shapiro - his "who cares who dies it's personal choice" position is not inconsistent with his position that women can't have abortions even if their life is in danger, but is inconsistent with the idea that people should be allowed to make their own decisions about their bodies and their health

Honestly though it doesn't really matter.  Was anything he said wrong?  I know, we are supposed to listen to the all powerful Fauci with his "science".  I guess I have little respect for a person that has so little value for human life with his gain of function position.

During a pandemic, I trust scientists over political commentators and opinion writers. I do not believe Fauci is all powerful. I do believe he knows quite a lot more about pandemics than most of us do.

Considering he helped fund it, cause it, and likely got regular progress reports because of that, he SHOULD know more abut it than us.

Not scientists that willfully lie to the public they claim to serve.  As a bureaucrat, if you lie to the public, you lost any respect that you may have gained.
