Well,,,we were HOPING that the CSC would update the processing to Jan 31st by now! Can they move ANY slower!? I do see however that about a dozen members with January filing dates have received their NOA2's. The wait for the rest of us is just plain frustrating!

Hi everyone!

I know I never post here, but we just got our NOA2 via email today. It's been 83 days since our NOA1. Be patient and your NOA2s will arrive soon (I know I was starting to get very restless! :-) )!!

CONGRATS TO YOU ON THE NOA2!!!!! I HOPE THE REST OF US WILL NOT BE TOO FAR BEHIND YOU!

It really sucks if they start moving them to Vermont. That means people who submitted in April could conceivably get approved before someone who submitted in Jan or Feb.

Welllll, the CSC finally updated! The processing date now shows "up to" Jan 13th, but lets hope they are moving along a little faster than that! Lets keep our fingers crossed for each other!

YES----We see it now! Pim and I filed about a week after that so perhaps the next "hurdle" is almost at hand? We can only hope!

This thread is completely wrong. I can't believe no one has corrected the info in this thread. Granted, the original poster did say that it was a rumor spread by his lawyer but s/he got it confused with a I-129, not the I-129F. They are COMPELETLY different animals.

I-129 is a Petition for A Nonimmigrant Worker

I-129F is a Petition for Alien Fiance(e)

Washington, DC – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced changes to the filing procedure for two popular employer-sponsored immigration forms. Starting on April 1st, employers filing a Petition for a Non-immigrant Worker (Form I-129) should mail that form directly to the Vermont Service Center. Also starting on April 1st, employers filing an Immigrant Petition for an Alien Worker (Form I-140) should mail that form directly to the Nebraska Service Center. Employers should file accompanying forms at these same centralized locations.

So for all the readers who are interested in an I-129F for fiance(e), this does not apply to your applications at all. Everyone will continue to file with CSC and CSC will continue to process everyones' I-129F as usual, both previous and future applications.

I hope this clarifies this rumor.

I read that at the site and noticed right away it was only for the I-129 forms, not the I-129F forms.
