I just counted 7 memeber NOA2 postings that had their NOA1's in January. So lets hope the California Center keeps working! We are as frustrated as the rest of you, regarding the K1 processings at a snails' pace!

I am like the rest of you, and i'll take anything i can get to hope the process speeds up. However, is CSC really catching up, or are we just getting closer because we have already been there as long as we have. As they start processing some January's, we are moving into April. While I am happy that most of ours are getting close now, I am sorry for the poor soles that are just now applying in CSC. They will have the same long wait as we have. Oh well, the saga continues.

Hey there Robert! Yes you are right! The POOR Vermont time is really slowing down........Ha! But ya know,, it makes me wonder if I should have rented a "P.O. Box" in Vermonts' jurisdiction so I could file thru them? Has anyone ever tried this?

Thanks for that. We got our NOA1 from CSC in January, and I'm going crazy checking the status everyday. I think I could relax if we would just get a touch, so I know it's still on a desk somewhere. Sigh.

this raises a question with me...

our attorney mailed our k1 visa app to TEXAS on 01/12/06... it was rec'd by Texas... and Texas issued an noa1 dated 01/17/06...

should i go by the noa1 date? or the date that california rec'd the app from texas which is 01/23/06?

any input will be appreciated...

Lynne

Although I *wish* this were true, I highly doubt it. If you look at what's been processed at CSC in the timelines here, the last NOA2 was 3/30, and there was only one. Before that, the last one was 3/24. That's a really looooooong gap. (could indicate that 3/30 was entered in error, or that it was sitting on someone's desk and just made the cut)

Although what is on the site is an un-scientific sample, it does somewhat validate the rumor of everything being packed up and moved to VSC. Anyone got anything more scientific? Perhaps info on how such a move will affect our applications? Hopefully they *will* update the site tomorrow, and maybe we'll know more.

Now I'm off to read that thread about what to do to not be depressed about all of this. :(

I had not heard that rumor. Can you expound?

I wish I could edit my prior post, 'cause I just noticed: one more 3/30 approval and two 3/28's have been posted! Yay! (this is why my study is unscientific)

Rumor came from attourney who was recently notified that all I-129 applications are now going to VSC. What attourney has not yet been able to find out is whether existing ones were going to be moved.

Further information can be found here: http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm

NOTE: Effective 4/01/06, the filing addresses for Forms I-129, I-140, I-485, I-539, I-765, and I-907 will change. Address information will be available from each document’s Forms Entry Page, linked below. For additional information, please review our News Release and Fact Sheet on these filing changes.

Ah, I can answer my own question: http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/fa...1_24Mar06FS.pdf

This notice says the aps are staying where they are. Good or bad? Who knows.
