Does anyone here have knowledge/experience of expediting the EAD/AP card after biometrics with a job offer? I have my biometrics at the end of this month and I really want to investigate this further.

Thanks

Call USCIS with your receipt number and request an EAD expedite stating you have a job offer with job letter proof.

Note you can only expedite EAD not AP.

Thanks, does a job offer tend to be reason enough? I'm just starting to look as didn't know how long biometrics would take.

Yes.

Once you have your receipt number you can expedite.

Having done biometrics already has nothing to do with it.

Once you are approved for an expedite they will send you to do biometrics.

I've heard people will often only be expedited if they have biometrics.

So just job offer?

Could you please share with me your experience on that. Have you been able to speed up the process?  How did you get in touch with USCIS? I cant get through to the assistant?

No experience.

Those are the facts. You will find them repeated on many posts here.

Speak to an agent by saying expedite.

Do you have your evidence ready to submit?

This is incorrect. You can't expedite the combo card without your biometrics done. Most of the time, they will reject your request saying that your biometrics is not done. This is because an EAD card, which will be the same as your AP by the way with an additional sentence on it, has to have your fingerprints on it. Sometimes, they will wait until you get your biometrics done to process your request.

You can’t say those are “facts” without putting a reference. Just because it was “repeated on may posts here” many times it does not mean it is correct. Unless you have personal experience, please do not misinform. As another poster indicated in this thread, your assertion is not correct.

I am on the same boat. They said I have to wait for my biometrics. I have been waiting for that letter so i cannot expedite yet.

OP- please update us on whether they approve your expedite request without biometrics. I know USCIS is not consistent but it would be good to dispel this myth that you don‘t need biometrics before expedite as I was told otherwise coming from USCIS.

This topic I linked below was a very active topic about the expedite process. Maybe y'all can bring it back to life so more people can share their experiences again. A lot of people got their EAD expedited without biometrics during the start of Covid. Might have been just because of that, who knows.. Also I remember a couple members who suddenly received biometrics appointments after asking for expedites.

The thing with the USCIS hotline is that the ones who answer the phone in the first place are basically customer service without deeper knowledge of the whole thing so information given by them is not always on point. I would call and request an expedite without telling that you haven't had your biometrics yet to get your request to somebody who's actually working cases.
