Hello,

I want to start saying that I’m a nurse so this being a business not even close. I want to know if anyone had the experience.

first marriage I got married at 20-my ex husband is European we were together for almost 5 years he got sponsor tru me. He was a great provider but not a great husband. I wanted to have a family and he was into his business, I graduated as a RN and we grew apart and separated, he got his papers in October of 2020 but we separeted due to covid in March 2020- we started our legal divorce in January 2021-

I went to Dominican Republic with my family in January 2021- and met my now husband we were together back in 2014- I got married in June and just file for him, we decided to do it because my doctor stated that in order for me to have kids I need to do IVF or IUI. So therefore I wanted to bring him here so we can do it faster. My question is how bad is the interview and what do you think I can bring as proof in the future for them to know my marriages were legit and not think I’m in the business of giving men papers which is not the case again I have been a nurse for 5 years already

***Moved to forum "IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures"  where similar discussions about spousal visa applications can be found***

Follow the VJ guide here, study the instructions about what constitutes proof of a bonafide marriage, read reviews from others going through the spousal visa process, and come back when you have specific questions.

Your job as a nurse doesn't really have much to do with proving or not proving that you entered into your marriages in good faith and not as part of a "business", as you mentioned. People get divorced and remarry. It's a story that USCIS sees all the time.

Good luck!

Your profession is not relevant to the bonafides of your immigration case.
