Hi i am not sure if this thread applies to me as I do not know what DQ means? Apologies if not relevant. 

 

I applied for a returning resident visa (SB1) which was approved on 19th Jan. I submitted my application for the immigrant visa DS260 on 26th Jan. I am desperately waiting on a date for the visa as I have a job offer which is past due it’s start date. 
 

My visa classification under FAQ is “other” which is currently not showing up as having any visa dates currently. 
 

I’d like to give the job an indication of what timescales we are looking with the hope that they can wait. This is my dream job so I don’t want to loose it. 
 

The above indicate it is a 4 month wait time? Would that apply to my situation too?

 

any assistance would be useful. Thank you in advance.

DQ stands for Documentarily Qualified. Sorry I can't help with anything else :)
