NOA2 received a month ago still nothing from NVC

Hi,

 

After waiting nearly 8 months we finally received our NOA2 on July 13 for the I-129F document. However, we have no heard anything from the NVC yet. At this point out only option is to call them and inquiry about our case correct?

It took us about 2 months for our NOA2 to arrive after our initial NOA1! I started calling them back after about 1.5 months of no response, and literally a week later, we got the NOA2!

Yes, you may call NVC and ask for your case number.

Yes, managed to get the case number from the NVC's non-immigrant phone number.

Your petition was approved in two months, during COVID times?  A record for sure.

Would you happen to have the number to call to get your case number? Also, how long should I wait before calling? My noa2 was July 21.

This is the non-immigrant NVC number I had my luck with: +1 603 334 0888. Waited about 30 minutes twice, and then third time I got an agent in 10 minutes.

How did you get your NOA2 just in 55 days??  Average wait time is 7 - 8 months right now.

Luck, most likely.  The published estimate is as you mentioned -- it's the average, not the rule.
