Oath before 3/5 Year mark?

I notice that these days, there are offices that schedule interviews pretty quickly from time of submission. I’m wondering if people from those places can actually take oath before their 3/5 year mark since we can start filing 90 days early?

I don’t think that is possible.  I imagine USCIS would hold up the interview or the approval until after the 3/5 year mark, but who knows.  In my wife’s case, she had her interview about two weeks after she hit her 3 year mark and her oath about 2 months later.

No.  The 90 day rule applies only to submitting the application.  You cannot become a citizen early.

Nope. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-6 "Although an applicant may file early according to the 90 day early filing provision, the applicant is not eligible for naturalization until he or she has reached the required five-year period of continuous residence as a lawful permanent resident (LPR)."

If you read iSonic's posts you'll notice that it's not clear when N-400 was filed in relation to the PR anniversary date. https://www.visajourney.com/profile/393666-isonic/content/ Even if it turns out that USCIS made a mistake in that 1 case, both the USCIS Policy Manual and the law (INA 334(a)) are explicitly clear on the matter. "In the case of an applicant subject to a requirement of continuous residence under section 1427(a) or 1430(a) of this title, the application for naturalization may be filed up to 3 months before the date the applicant would first otherwise meet such continuous residence requirement."

This makes sense. Thank you!
