Pictures are not good evidence.  Messages are not evidence of meeting.

I-94 is best evidence of having met.

And, is the border actually open?  I live in a border state, and I don't believe non-essential border crossings are allowed yet.

Since October of last year, they allow people in committed romantic relationships to visit if they get a notarized statement and fill out some paperwork, in addition to a mandatory 14-day quarantine requirement.

Contrary to Ontarkie's stubborn insistence, this question is neither a duplicate nor in the wrong forum. The thread to which that question was wrongly merged asked when it's best to file AOS. The second question, the one linked, asks about whether/who to notify about moving. It was posted in the K1 forum, which is where it belongs. It doesn't belong in the K1 AOS forum because it doesn't ask anything about AOS.

Reality does not change by silencing those who reveal it.

As far as I can tell, I-94 records are only for foreigners. There is no dropdown entry for the United States under Passport Country of Issuance.

it is for foreigners.

you are stressing. i get it. weve all been there.

print her i94. print it again next time she comes. wash rinse repeat (or wait until right before you file lol)

the border is about to open to vaccinated Americans. go over. ASK them to stamp your passport. if you ask, they will. might look at you crazy, but they will.

front load your petition with everything you can think of. i did. put WAY more in than i ever needed to. did it for the K1. then decided to marry and file a CR1. that process is a bit different so didnt really have to do it for that. Doing it for ROC now.

include photos. chats. phone records (hubby and i didnt text much (look, were old LOL) but we literally SLEPT on the phone together (old and pathetic) 20,000 minutes a month. i sent PHONE records, tickets to events. photos of us at those events, tix of us at places (like niagara falls+corresponding pics), pictures of holidays and us with friends- all dated- over the course of years. all sorts of ####### they never looked at. but it was all there.

letters, cards, receipts from both of you at the same time/place (or same town over the same date span), etc.... anything like that. get creative.

youve got this.

I appreciate all the advice and encouragement! One correction though: remember that she's the American here. She doesn't have i-94 records. And she's the one who crosses the border to visit me regularly (although I have visited her once in the last two years, so I'll definitely be sure to include that.)

ok. have her ask them to stamp her passport. everything else still applies. print YOUR i94.  make a distinct effort to do something that involves a dated, ticketed event (i know with covid and the lockdown still up there it might be harder). or ... go old fashioned. picture with a newspaper LOL that with a passport stamp will give all the evidence needed for the petition.

You already have what is needed. truly. but, frontloading makes many feel better. it made ME feel better and I KNEW i didnt need to do it LOL

and if it makes you feel REALLY better- our 3 year anniversary is this coming xmas eve ;)  and we are in the process of filing for his removal of conditions (his 10 year greencard- long way away for you). and no where along our journey have we had a single issue. lots of stress, sure, but no issues. :)

She could request her records through the Canadian Privacy Act: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/thr-rav-eng.html

When requesting your Travel History Report, you must indicate whether you are seeking your exit information, your entry information, or both. Exit information is limited and will only be included when specifically requested.

There's no problem about the photos looking "staged" if your relationship is bona fide and valid. :)

Can you match dates on her I-94 with her using her card in your city?
