This is beyond frustrating. I would reach out to your local representatives and senators to deal with the NVC. It seems like they are the problem. I know you mentioned a senator's aid, but did you try both senators and the representatives in your distinct/city?

I should say house representative aid I just get use to telling my wife senator since she really only know that.  I only talk to just the one to just make it easier and prevent conflicting information and requests.

Anyway the aid has contacted around 10 embassies. Two said let us clear up first and contact us in about two months. Did that now they say go to Warsaw or no. She has made multiple attempts for information from the state department again nothing from them at all. She has also talked with the NVC and she summed up them as being useless.

I do not know if this means anything or not. I will just copy what I posted on another post.

So I deiced to check the CEAC website and now they want a police report. What the heck when have been DQ since May 2020 I checked the CEAC website about 2 months ago and nothing about this. Never got email or letter about it. Even on the CEAC web portal there is no message of it.

At the time we did all this he was not even 16 yet and now he is 17. I wounder if that means Moscow might interview him.

Your case would so benefit form a DCF-like stuation where the NVC was not evolved at all, only the embassy directly. Since Moscow seems to be the most responsive, maybe contact them again and stress the military situation with the son. I think it's worth a shot. Maybe even get the aid involved with contacting Moscow, backing up the criticality of the situation. Don't give up! Often the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Forget emails. Try calling:

https://www.ustraveldocs.com/pl/en/contact-us

https://pl.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/

Also, call Moscow. This is getting critical because of the army situation. Moscow is still handling "emergency" cases.

https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ru/ru-main-contactus.asp

https://ru.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/

After I kept trying to contact the US embassy in Warsaw for the last two weeks to transfer our case there, I heard nothing from them. I decided to call them this morning and went to the website and I saw this: https://pl.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/. Now, they officially announces they are accepting IV applicants from Russia.

It definitely sounds like your in a tough position and I know how frustrating it can be. I'd have to go along with the rest of the folks here and say just keep calling and emailing. We contacted our state senators and congressman and basically got lip service from both, but your situation is totally different since you have a minor involved. The politicians really need to get involved, are there any news agencies you could contact that might take up your dilemma?

I echo this.  Great news, and very helpful for others!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Congratulation!!! And thanks for shearing, it is helpful.

What kind of transportation did you use in Warsaw? And how did you pay for this?

My husband isn’t vaccinated and no one asked about it. We were told at the medical exam that he is exempt from it because they don’t have a vaccine that is approved in the US. On all airport check-ins we were asked to show a pcr test done within 72 hours and from Poland to Hungary we just had an antigen test.

We used Uber and taxi. Uber is much cheaper. But we didn’t have to use it much because our hotel was 5 minutes walking distance from the embassy. We payed for everything with my US bank card and we never had any issues with it.

@Yuliya.99 congrats to you both and thanks for sharing! Did you have to cancel the tour in Hungary once you arrived? And Hungary only issued schengen for 6 days total? Also, did the medical clinic in Moscow have open times online or did you have to call and specifically ask?

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁

So I emailed the Warsaw embassy asking to transfer my case and got a reply which says:

Quote

Effective May 12, 2021 U.S. Embassy Moscow does not offer immigrant visa services due to the government of Russia’s April 23, 2021 notification prohibiting U.S. Embassy Moscow from employing foreign nationals in any capacity. U.S. Embassy Warsaw is currently accepting transfer of ALL categories of Russian immigrant visa cases on a case-by-case basis thus your request has been approved. If you are a Russian immigrant visa applicant and your case is still with the National Visa Center, you may also request transfer of the case to U.S. Embassy Warsaw by contacting the National Visa Center.

Russian DV cases will be automatically allocated to Warsaw for immigrant visa processing and will be scheduled by the Kentucky Consular Center according to law mandated rank number and date of document submission. Please do not contact us regarding transfer of DV cases to Warsaw.

So the big question is what is rank number?  Date of document submission I guess means the date I submitted my I-129F?  Does anyone have an idea how many K1 cases are waiting from Russia now in Poland?  And the big question.... when could I expect to get our interview scheduled?

We didn’t cancel our tour because we were afraid that if we did that we would have issues getting into Hungary. And we couldn’t cancel the tour after arrival. We spent 2 nights there, but the rest in Poland and just had to come to terms with the fact that money was waisted because of all of this. And yes his schengen was open for only 6 days because that’s how long our tour was and my husband has never had a schengen visa so they usually give first timers only the dates of their trip. Of course it was a risk, but it was cheaper that’s why it was only 6 days. If you buy a tour for 10+ days I’m sure your visa will be open for that much or more.

About the medical exam, we called the day our interview was scheduled and they had several open slots so we booked it over the phone and the people were very nice, they answered all our questions and made any changes that needed to be made without any issues.
