How can you check that?

Once you have an appointment scheduled through TravelDocs, you're able to click 'reschedule appointment' and look at the next open date. You can't log in to do this too frequently, though, as there's an automatic lockout that can disable your account for 72 hours. Warsaw (thankfully) did this to stop rampant botting that was causing certain calendars to be filled for months on end and for new openings to be nabbed immediately.

You have to pay the fee to get to the scheduler; the little pop-up on the side beforehand that says "next interview is: XX" is always incorrect. I'm not sure where TravelDocs is sourcing that from, but it's always earlier than what's actually available.

The information about Warsaw requesting packets I got directly from NVC, which turned out to be correct as mine was sent shortly thereafter.

Warsaw is backed up until October 20 iirc, I just checked this morning. As a general timeline, there are several filers whose packets got to Warsaw mid-late March and are still awaiting Packet 3. Nonetheless, your packet will not stay at NVC for long; Warsaw is actively requesting them, yours should be at the embassy in less than two weeks.

You mean the available interview date is October 20? How come with Ukraine cases transferred to Frankfurt?

Yes, the next date is October 20. Warsaw is backed up because, from my understanding, they’ve only recently begun accepting (more) packets from NVC, which includes delayed Russian files. Russian packets were sitting at NVC without an assigned embassy for almost a year, and now that they have one, it sounds like they’re being sent out in bulk. At least, that’s my only assumption.

Recall Warsaw is now the hub for three countries. You’re right that Ukraine is designated Frankfurt which helps us TREMENDOUSLY, but that didn’t solve the existing backlog I have been dreading/anticipating when I heard Russia was being shifted over to Warsaw. I believe, however, that difficulty with obtaining Schengen Visas, and Russians establishing residency elsewhere, may actually result in some cancellations. I also heard that Frankfurt reserves an emergency appointment open every day, so I think there’s plans in place to reduce this wait as quickly as possible.

I also heard from someone ‘on the ground’ that there are many Ukrainians nonetheless at the embassy gates in Warsaw trying their luck, so that’s been an issue too.

It’s crazy, I saw some Russia filers timeline and it doesn’t take that long, just two months finished everything since they got their case number from NVC

Yeah, unfortunately that was back in November-February, a lot changed dramatically since then it seems. I too was surprised, as Warsaw is traditionally a very quick embassy, so I always told my fiancee the turnaround would be quite immediate. However, the scheduler doesn't lie. K1 filers schedule appointments themselves whereas IR1/CR1 seems to have theirs assigned, so possibly the embassy is now prioritizing those and limiting the amount of K1 spots/day? If I recall correctly, there aren't many daily (like somewhere between 5-10 all early in the morning).

This raises the continued mystery of why it was that Russians were designated Warsaw, as it seems so burdensome on you guys. Especially now, you'd think there'd be more freedom for Russians to choose whether they want Tbilisi/Yerevan/Nur-Sultan/Almaty/Istanbul, etc.

No they can't; but I was just commenting on how it would be sensible if they could. Many Belarusians and Russians have left their countries permanently and, in the time it takes them to wait on the interview, will likely be looking into some sort of residency elsewhere. I think we've confirmed with a recent case here on the forums that embassies outside Warsaw are still declining to take Russian applicants.

Ukrainians, however, are having mixed success transferring out of Frankfurt depending on their current circumstances. I think there's just a real desire to try and insulate the flood of applicants as much as possible, though unfortunately that's already taken its toll on Warsaw and Frankfurt quite substantially.

Call NVC to assign the case to Istanbul or Armenia is possible? Tomorrow I will give NVC a call

They just don’t care about how you feel and won’t open any easy door to you, I heard the interview just take 5-10 minutes and they can process 200 cases every day per person.
anyway, I probably should meet in Greece once in May or June to get the Schengen visa first and I hope they can get a multiple entry visas

No, it's virtually impossible. You can try, but they will likely tell you to contact the embassy, which will then inform you they cannot (and that's only after your packet arrives). If I'm not mistaken, the process is a transfer once already in Warsaw, not at NVC. The State Department commands NVC to send petitions to certain places. That's why, no matter what you wrote on your I-129F, NVC sends it to your assigned location.

If you are interested in transferring elsewhere, I highly recommend looking through recent threads on this forum where people tried going elsewhere. I think I recall an Armenia rejection, but am not sure. Best of luck!

Poland is not issuing any visas to Russian and on April 5, Poland call all EU countries to stop all Schengen visas to all Russians, Poland then May reject entry of any Russia people, then how Russian can get the interview done in Warsaw?

Immigrant visas for Russians, including K fiancé visas and Diversity Visas, will be
processed at U.S. Embassy Warsaw.
Why was Warsaw chosen for immigrant visas?
In determining an alternate location to process Russian immigrant visa cases, we weighed a variety of factors, including proximity to Russia, space to accommodate additional applicants and personnel, cost and convenience to applicants, the prevalence of Russian speakers among the personnel, and sufficient staffing
to adjudicate cases.
What if my case takes a long time to process? Will I need to stay in Poland the entire time?
Visa processing is often completed and the visa ready for pick up within two to three
days of the visa interview, but sometimes the process can take longer. If additional administrative processing is required, applicants may return to Russia while their case is pending. Please note an individual’s immigration status in Poland is ultimately up to the Government of Poland. Applicants will receive from
consular staff additional instructions about the processing of their case and may address case-specific questions during their interview at U.S. Embassy Warsaw. In all cases, applicants should not make travel plans until they have a scheduled immigrant visa interview appointment.
What if I would prefer to process my immigrant visa case at another U.S. embassy or consulate? Am I required to process my case in Warsaw?
While NVC will automatically schedule immigrant visa applications designated for processing in Moscow at U.S. Embassy Warsaw, immigrant visa applicants may request that NVC schedule their application at another immigrant visa
processing U.S. embassy or consulate by contacting the Ask NVC online contact form. If the U.S. embassy or consulate agrees to accept the case, and the case is qualified for scheduling, NVC will transfer the case to the requested U.S. embassy or consulate. If the case file has already been transferred
to U.S. Embassy Warsaw, applicants may submit a transfer request directly to the Immigrant Visa Unit at the chosen alternate U.S. embassy or consulate. That embassy or consulate will confirm availability of appointments and will advise on the steps necessary to begin the case transfer.
What are the requirements for Russian nationals to enter Poland?
Russian nationals traveling to Poland for an immigrant visa appointment at U.S. Embassy Warsaw will need a Schengen visa. The Government of Poland makes determinations regarding the entry of foreign nationals into that country. We refer you to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the nearest Polish embassy or consulate with specific questions.
How much time will I have between receiving notification of my immigrant visa interview and my appointment date at U.S. Embassy Warsaw?
You will usually receive notice of your interview one or two months prior to the appointment.
What if some of my documents are no longer valid by the time my visa interview is scheduled?
You should make every effort to ensure all of your documents are valid when you travel to Warsaw for your immigrant visa interview, as certain expired documents wi
