I'm not sure if you got an answer for your question but hoping somehow this one could help. I tracked back comments from this thread and I found most of them saying upload the most updated I864 and including the W2 & tax transcript and bring it with you on your interview.

Here is the link that I read

Thank you! going to bring an updated one, can't hurt :)

My work (ideally) would like at least 1.5 month notice for ending my employment. Super nervous to provide a "definitive" date in case if interview gets delayed or some other hiccup happens. But ofcourse would like to move asap after getting my passport back. Anyone else in the same boat and how are you handling it?

I don't for you but if my employer asks this from me I would just give him the regular minimum of 2 weeks notice and nothing more (how dare they...). If this is because you expect a reference letter and he knows it, that's not fair at all...Your employer don't have any rights to ask for more unless this is written in your contract. I plan to give 3 weeks, which in my mind, is very generous. Again,  maybe your are in a different situation, different industry as well.

My Wife (petitioner) and I dont have wedding pictures together or in general because we got married mid covid. We are waiting for everything to open up for my family to fly to Florida and we are booking a wedding celebration for December 2022.

We do however have HUNDREDS of photos together from my 4 visits to her in the past 1.5 years. Photos of our mini engagement party.  Plus joint bank account, authorized credit card user, joint phone bill, im the beneficiary of her 401k, travel tickets, gifts and cards from friends/family congratulating us on the marriage.

I even have a few screenshots of skype logs but we skype literally everyday - 20+hr calls each time; could probably make a textbook out of it.

Should this be sufficient for CR1 visa interview? We will be married for one year in about 2 weeks !😊

Thanks!

Melissa

Yes, you are good. They have never asked for our pictures. We did not send any picture even with the application, they are mostly interested in documents not pictures.

Yeah I was afraid to even tell my manager what I was planning.  But since my wife and kids left to go back to Arizona 5 months ago it's kind of obvious.  I told them 2 months ago.  Now I'm in my awkward wait and see period. DQ Sept 5.  Will I get my letter in July? August?  Will I even be approved?  Who knows

Hey everyone,

Has any Canadian crossed the land border to visit their spouse lately?

Yup! I am in Minnesota right now.
I am DQ Oct 28.
I flew in on June 9th and have my return ticket for Sept 4th... praying for my IL before then but we figured I would max out my visitation for the year.

zero issues crossing

The wait right now from DQ time to interview is about 8 months. Just be quiet about it and don't talk about your situation at work. They don't have to know your private life. After the interview you when you know you have been approved you can tell them but for now you have a long wait.

you were DQ'd on Sept 5 '20 and yet you haven't get your IL? I was checking the spreadsheet made by @Hawk Riders, one of our folk was DQ'd also in Sept 5 and already had their Interview done. Others DQ'd upto Sept 22 are having their sched for Interview next month. I suggest try on sending email Montreal or NVC to check your case.

Oh so it's Oct 5. As I opened your timeline what was shown there is filed 130 and I wonder why your application for I130 is a K3 visa not CR-1/IR-1. Open the link I sent and you'll find edit time line and from there you can start entering data/info

Ah, your VJ information is incorrect then. It says you're an F-1 and your timeline is also not a typical CR1/IR1 timeline. The first can be fixed by going to your profile and clicking edit, and the second can be fixed by editing your timeline (I think you currently have K3 selected rather than CR1/IR1).

Thanks very much. Will have. A look when I'm off work. We've been Married 20 years. I lived in the US for 10 years with them.  We all moved to Canada for a while then 2 years ago we applied for my green card to go back home. If we knew this would happen we'd have stayed put.
