We dont know what we dont know, so anything is possible, but I doubt that's the case.

Unless those who were DQed in Sep had particular tendency not to report in the tracker, distribution of sample cases in the tracker should roughly correspond to the proportion of total cases in the population.

Although I think it is entirely possible and not even improbable that our tracker doesn't represent an accurately proportion of all applicants DQd in any particular month, I fear you may still be right, that they simply issued fewer ILs for July,

I further fear that this will persist in the next month, considering we are sharing equal priority to K1 now and K1 is still a 2 - 2.5 months behind. Our only relief may come when K1 catches up and MTL is able to bring more people into the office, waiting and interview rooms. Hoping that day comes soon.

I hope for all of us my fear is wrong...

Hi our application for CR1 was DQ on Sep 2nd 2020.  I see from the tracker Excel sheet that some ppl who were DQ’d on Sept 2nd as well as 5th got interview letters in April for May interview dates. Now I see those DQ’d, up to Sept 21, 2020 also got IL’s today. However, my case is still saying AT NVC.

Any idea what might be the hold up, we had no issues at all, no request for additional info, etc. I am a Canadian citizen (immigrant) and spouse is American. Does priority date factor in? Then again I read somewhere it doesn’t apply to spousal visa because that visa category  is  current.

I tried calling NVC can’t get through at the moment due to high call volume. Hopefully later on tonight I can. I also emailed the Montreal consulate.

Any suggestions?

Oh I see. I didn't know that as my experience was different. I submitted on April 14. On May 17, the current case review time read - "as of May 17, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 10-April-2021."

I received DQ on the morning of May 19.

So I assumed if this persons submission date is past the review date they should have received DQ already. But maybe it takes a few days...

May I ask your DQ date is May 19 of which year?

keep on trying with NVC; since your case isn't at the consulate yet, they won't have answers for you.

From what I know, Montreal interviews in chronological order of DQ...

I would contact NVC ASAP and ask what the issue is. If there was some oversight on the end of NVC/ Montreal, you might qualify for an expedite.

Call them at 7am (Eastern time) sharp tomorrow. You will get through.

Your priority date is current being in CR1/IR1 category, so that is certainly not the issue.

Good luck!

Looks like it. Perhaps they're realizing that 1 year isn't enough to get an interview anymore. It'll be interesting to see if there's an official announcement about it or if they quietly push this out.

Is there anyone with an interview coming up who has both an "expired" (over 1 year but less than 2) PCC and a new one that is willing to try giving the old one first to see what they say?

I have both, I will try the old one first and let y'all know
