Same boat. Of course they have to cut off right in front of us again, this time, it's even closer to our DQ dates.

This almost makes me laugh not in a good way.

Yeah, this is absolutely painful. x.x

Thanks for your response. I would still like to be optimistic though. Nothing bad or funny in that right?

There is no harm in calling NVC in my view (except the time spent in doing so), and yes, I agree, it's not bad or funny to be optimistic. 🙂

Thanks for your advice. I'll wait this week to get an update. Hope I'll get one.

I certainly hope so. It seems so unfair to only do 15days of DQ's

Is it possible that there were unusually high number of cases DQ'd between Sept 6 and Sep 21.

I have noticed that NVC's processing and issuances of DQs happens in waves. Some weeks they process a month and half worth of applications, others barely a week. I was following NVC's processing very closely between my NAO2 and DQ and that's how I know.

So is it possible that MTL didn't necessarily issue a reduced number of ILs, and there were many cases DQd in those 15 days?

I guess we will know when they release the stats in a couple of months.

Yeah, definitely possible that there are a number of people DQ'd between Sep 9 and 18 who don't have a timeline. If you notice, it skips from July 2 for Sep 9 to July 19, 21, 23, 28 for Sep 18-21. Probably more in between.

Hello.Congratulations to everyone who got their IL.

I have a question on my DQ. I sent all the documents to NVC on May 17 and today while checking the status on NVC timeline, I see the below:

"Current case review time: As of 14-JUN-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 18-MAY-2021."

Is this normal and can I expect a DQ or any update this week or should I send an inquiry about my application? Thanks for answering.

Oh absolutely call them. This is the same as being outside of processing time for USCIS so a call is warranted. Sure, maybe they'll tell you they're reviewing your docs and you need to wait a few days, but also maybe there's an issue and calling in can get the ball rolling again rather than waiting another week just to find out there's an issue.

Very happy to for all of you who got IL’s! As a DQ Oct 6, I’m glad to see the consulate doing something but disappointed once again :( hoping for an august interview now, then maybe I can move in sept after my fourth wedding anniversary.. :(

We dont know what we dont know, so anything is possible, but I doubt that's the case.

Unless those who were DQed in Sep had particular tendency not to report in the tracker, distribution of sample cases in the tracker should roughly correspond to the proportion of total cases in the population.

Yes, does look like it's new.

I saw it as 1 year before as well. Probably a result of increase wait times these days from DQ to interview (close to a year or more) at some consulates like ours.

A welcome change :)

Looks like it. Perhaps they're realizing that 1 year isn't enough to get an interview anymore. It'll be interesting to see if there's an official announcement about it or if they quietly push this out.

Is there anyone with an interview coming up who has both an "expired" (over 1 year but less than 2) PCC and a new one that is willing to try giving the old one first to see what they say?
