Hello.Congratulations to everyone who got their IL.

I have a question on my DQ. I sent all the documents to NVC on May 17 and today while checking the status on NVC timeline, I see the below:

"Current case review time: As of 14-JUN-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 18-MAY-2021."

Is this normal and can I expect a DQ or any update this week or should I send an inquiry about my application? Thanks for answering.

It is odd that you haven't DQ'd already if they are assessing May 18 submissions and yours is May 17.

Are you sure, you haven't missed an email. Check your CEAC account. Also recommend you call NVC...

Oh no I’m so sorry lol this is a general thing and even once they access your documents, they take time to review. 3-6 weeks average right now.

Omg don’t call them 😂 it’ll take time for them to review and authenticate everything. You’ve barely begun the process, and there’s a lot of waiting so best not to get your hopes high for a speedy process now 😂

Very sorry... can't imagine what you are going through right now.

I hope Montreal issues a huge batch for August interviews, covering rest of September and all of October...

Me too 😕 At this rate, it feels like the average wait time between DQ and IL will remain at 10.5 - 11 months. I feel crushed that some of us had to wait much longer than others for NO2 (Potomac/California/Vermont are taking 13-30 months now 😔). It doesn't make sense as to why Nebraska only takes 2 months? That's straight up unfair and shows us once again how horrible of a process this is. I really feel for those who are celebrating their NO2 now only to find out how long it's taking to get an interview in Canada.

I'm doubtful. There's a full swathe of dates for July that have been issued already.

I'm just....I'm so done. Thought it might've been April but then they reduced down the batch to half. Thought June, no interviews. Now this month they end up issuing even less. And now I'm going to agonize whether they will skip the next month.

Feeling legit sick right now.

Same boat. Of course they have to cut off right in front of us again, this time, it's even closer to our DQ dates.

This almost makes me laugh not in a good way.

Is it possible, more are yet to be issued today? September 6 to 21 is a smaller batch than usual...

But most Sep 21 DQ's have July 23 interview, whereas I only saw one scheduled for the 28th...so still possible maybe. I'm just so relieved that they started scheduling again.

Oh I see. I didn't know that as my experience was different. I submitted on April 14. On May 17, the current case review time read - "as of May 17, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 10-April-2021."

I received DQ on the morning of May 19.

So I assumed if this persons submission date is past the review date they should have received DQ already. But maybe it takes a few days...

Thanks for your response. I would still like to be optimistic though. Nothing bad or funny in that right?
