Fingers crossed this goes into effect before July 3 (they said it would be early July...), that's when I need to legally leave the US as my B2 visa expires then. Fingers crossed for that good news later today...and hopefully a new batch of ILs this week!!!

Ooooh so timely for you! I hope this will be work out as you described... rooting for you!

I was kinda hoping seeing some good news here 😃, like a batch of ILs for July, but I just noticed there's nothing yet!.. Fingers crossed for the upcoming days 🤞❤️

When I log on to VJ in the morning I'm usually hoping that there isn't news of a batch of interviews, because that would mean that I didn't make this round 😂

But yes, fingers absolutely crossed for tomorrow or Friday!

Hello all!  I check VJ everyday too hoping to see some movement for interviews in Montreal  for IR1/CR1 - Like everyone, the wait since DQ has been very stressful so hopefully we will here something soon❤️ I know the husband has been very stressed was we would like to rejoin our family in the US.  Best of luck to everyone!

And another day without news ! I refresh this forum 10x a day from 10-5 EST. And will until Friday next week... This is nerve wrecking 😅

Totally... it's been full two months since they issued the last ILs back in April.

By looking at the historical data, the consulate hasn't skipped for 2 months in a row except for the covid interruption, so I'm praying that they will issue ILs this week or next week.

Is it required (or recommended) to bring additional evidence of relationship to the interview compared to what one submitted for the i130?

I applied for CR1(2 years or less marriage) Visa when I was 6months in of my first year anniversary. In 2 months, it would be exactly the 2nd of year of the marriage; therefore, would it affects my case at all since I'm still waiting for the IL and if it drags on more than 2 years of my marriage?

If your case goes over 2 years you’ll be automatically converted to IR-1 which is the same thing as CR-1 but you won’t need to apply for removal of conditions and you’ll get a 10 year green card. Same applies if your visa is issued earlier and you cross into the US after your second anniversary

@NimF Thanks!

It's kinda odd that some people on the excel sheet DQ'ed in earler september, 2020 already had their interview letters/interviews by now. However, the video and the consulate website indicates that they're currently scheduling interview for cases that DQ'ed from July - August 2020.
