If I'm not mistaken both you and your spouse would receive emails. In your case, even your lawyer, if they are authorised. So I wouldn't be worried about missing an email since it will still go to your spouse and lawyer. (Similar to when you get the DQ email).

Congrats to those approved at their interviews this morning!

 

Just wanted to provide an update re my SSN, still no sign of it. But the SSA was able to give me an appointment at their Bellingham Office tomorrow to get one sorted out. If any of y'all need to do this, your best bet is calling your local SSA office the moment they open for the day. They only book appointments over the following three days so they go quick, but if you get one, you won't be waiting long either. You have to call your local office as the national SSA helpline cannot book appointments.

my friend @From_CAN_2_US is correct. Having a representative (a lawyer) what I believe is they will receive an email notice about your IL. Not only your lawyer but the applicant and petitioner as well will be notified.

When you go for the interview, mention the correction in the email to the CO. Maybe they can correct it then.

Yep feel yah. It will almost be a year of that for me.im already half way packed. I’m about to start unpacking lol.

Don’t worry I didn’t get a welcome letter either and was confused! But I was approved and my passport should be back in a day or two!  congrats!!

Thank you both so much 😭 this process really genuinely broke me back in May when they didn’t send any IL out at all and it’s just been downhill from then until I got my IL and I finally have a way home. I know you all are still waiting and I’m here rooting you on as much as I can. I’ve learned a lot of stuff and I’m going to make my own FAQ and share it with you when I’m done, and I really hope it helps. I found even with crowdsourcing on VJ there were still so many things that went unanswered; anything to make this process smoother for you all and please don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions 🥺

My wife and I had our interview and were still like oh god is it letter day and STILL check the forums. It is engrained in our subconscious now and we are immigration borg.
